I read this book for three times. I like it most. I have this book from last 30 years. I read it first time at the age of 17. Burnie the last some pages are torn of bhutaval. So I am eager to read the end.

This novel left a very profound imprint on me as to the heritage that I belonged to as a Gujarati when growing up. We do not have to think too hard on how to raise the kids with the right value and respect if we exposed them to the correct literature

સગપરિયા સાહેબને નતમસ્તક વંદન કે જેમણે તેમના લેખન કૌશલ્યથી પંકજસિંહજી જેવા અદભૂત વ્યક્તિત્વ નો લોકોને પરિચય કરાવ્યો. આજના જમાનામાં આવી વ્યક્તિ કે જે હંમેશા નિસ્વાર્થભાવે સરકારીતંત્રમાં રહીને પણ સેવા કરવા તત્પર હોય એવું જે પંકજસિંહજીથી પરીચીત ના હોય તે માની જ ના શકે. જેમ મહાન વિજ્ઞાની આઇન્સ્ટાઇને ગાંધીજી માટે કહેલું કે આવનારી પેઢી એવું માની જ નહી શકે આવી વ્યક્તિએ આ પૃથ્વી પર જન્મ લીધો હશે, એજ રીતે આવનારી પેઢી વિશ્વાસ નહી કરી શકે કે પંકજસિંહજી જેવા નખશીખ પ્રમાણિક અને નિષ્ઠાવાન અધિકારીએ રેવન્યુ ડીપાર્ટમેન્ટમાં નોકરી કરી હશે!!!
